Security Research Scientist will perform research on the most advanced threats to enhance the Cisco Tetration’s products to protect its customers. As a member of security research team, you will be working with kernel ninjas, ML gurus,  big data experts, UI/Ux rock stars. You will be involved in identifying signals and designing AI algorithms that will use these signals to identify security threats and security breaches. You will collaborate with security policy orchestration team in improving security posture of our customers through segmentation and sandboxing of business critical enterprise applications.

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong software engineer with solid computer science fundamentals in areas such as data structures, algorithms, object oriented design and security
  • Experience in system security, network security and application security.
  • Knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention techniques.

Preferred Skills

  • PhD in Computer Science or 5 years equivalent experience
  • Experience with low level systems including C and Assembly
  • Expertise in malware analysis and/or software exploitation
  • Working knowledge of machine learning techniques
